The Gunners host one of the biggest clashes in the Premier League this season as they prepare to host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. A win for Arsenal will see them gain revenge for the defeat at the hands of the Red Devils in September, which has been the north London side's only defeat this season.
Elsewhere, a first signing for Arsenal was confirmed on Friday as Leandro Trossard joined on an initial £21million fee from Brighton. The business doesn't end their though, with more than one week left in the window and the likes of Jakub Kiwior, Eduardo Camavinga and Youri Tielemans have all been linked with a switch, with Kiwior thought to be close to signing a deal.

Tielemans update
Transfer guru Ben Jacobs has delivered an update on Arsenal target Youri Tielemans' future in north London.
“We know that Manchester United have had a long-standing interest in Youri Tielemans, but Tielemans was not that sold at a point when he thought that Arsenal were also very seriously at the table and may move a bit quicker,” Jacobs told Give Me Sport.
“Now, Manchester United are flying on the football field, it will be interesting to see whether that changes anything in Tielemans’ perception of Manchester United.”

Kiwior frustration
Spezia manager Luca Gotti has admitted that he is far from pleased with impending Jakub Kiwior's move to Arsenal.
“I am very happy for Kiwior and for the opportunity created,” said Gotti.
“At the same time it is the club’s best sale ever and I probably think that the club is also happy, and hopefully it will be at the end of the journey as well. I’m not happy for myself. There are coaches who ask for reinforcements and signings, constantly complaining.
"I will never do it, but fate has befallen me in recent years that in every market the club where I am makes large capital gains and sells assets."

Patino contract
Arsenal are keen to offer Charlie Patino an improved contract according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking to Givemesport, Romano said: "They want to extend the contract of Charlie Patino. They triggered the extension on his contract, but they are convinced he is a player for the future, so they want to offer him a new deal.
“This contract situation at Arsenal is a really important one in the Emirates.”

Ten Hag's admission
Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has spoken about comparisons between United midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.
"They are two great players," the former Ajax boss told Sky Sports.
"So skilful and they score goals. They symbolise the modern footballer in their attitudes.
"They play good football and they know they have to work for the team, they are team players and use their abilities to make their team better so the individual skills are in the interests of the team. There is only one Messi, we saw that at the World Cup.
"The rest have to work and be part of a team."

Kiwior competition
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that Arsenal fought off competition from the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and West Ham United to sign Polish defender Jakub Kiwior.
“Arsenal have been tracking Kiwior for months; they already had contacts on player side before the World Cup, he will sign the contract within the next 24 hours,” Romano told Caught Offside.
“West Ham wanted him last summer, Juventus were scouting him and AC Milan negotiated with Spezia in November.”

Raphinha outlook
According to Spanish news outlet Sport, Yannick Carrasco will be a Barcelona player this summer. This comes after Memphis Depay made the switch from the Catalan side to Atletico Madrid in the January window.
News of Carrasco’s move comes after Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri reported that Arsenal have made contact with Barcelona over a move for Raphinha. The Gunners were after the Brazilian in the summer and now see a chance to finally get their man. With Carrasco and Raphinha both playing on the wing, Barcelona's move for the Belgian could be to replace Raphinha.

Rice preference
According to The Guardian, West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is currently leaning towards a move to Arsenal because of the prospect of playing for head coach Mikel Arteta.
The north London outfit are said to have made Rice their primary summer target, with the West Ham captain seen as the perfect candidate to challenge first-choice holding midfielder Thomas Partey and box-to-box maestro Granit Xhaka.

Zubimendi release clause
Arsenal wanted to pay the clause of Martín Zubimendi in this winter market but he did not want to leave Real Sociedad in the middle of the season according to Carrusel Deportivo.

Tielemans chance
Former Arsenal invincible Ray Parlour has advised Arsenal to sign Tielemans. Speaking via Lord Ping, he said: “Arsenal need another midfielder as backup to Xhaka and Partey and I know Tielemans was mentioned in that midfield area. He is very different to Partey.
“I know Partey is very good at winning the ball back. Very similar to Petit and Gilberto Silva. So it's a bit of a defensive midfielder, but obviously good on the ball as well that can make things happen.
With Tielemans. He doesn’t have long left in his contract. So Arsenal can put a little cheeky bid in. But at the same time, Leicester has their own problems fighting a relegation battle, and does not want to go down because they lost their best players.”
Bailey Keogh
Camavinga hint
Despite the playing down of a transfer, Camavinga himself has sent a transfer hint by liking an Instagram post that mentioned he was linked with a move to Arsenal.
Camavinga joined Real Madrid in the same summer that Odegaard left Los Blancos from Ligue 1 side Rennes but has struggled for game time since making the £27.7million switch. This had led to links with Arsenal this January, according to the Evening Standard.
It is certainly a deal that the Gunners could look to explore. But with Ancelotti expressing his importance to the team, it may prove difficult to get over the line.
