How do you get to the bottom of the sinkhole in Cave 7? ›

It is possible to get out of cave 7 without the climbing axe or rebreather. Just find one of the paths leading out and you'll find your way, you will find a rope with a very long climb which will bring you out at the top of the cliff above the Katana cave.

Water is usually discovered at the bottom of sinkholes wherever they occur.

In order to fully explore the cave, the player will need the climbing axe and the rebreather, along with some sort of explosives. This cave should not be attempted without being fully supplied and stocked, due to its difficulty and length. This cave also opens up into the side of the sinkhole via a set of stone doors.

It is normally not possible to go down without the climbing axe, but if you jump carefully on the walls you should be able to go down without trouble. Then follow the path until you reach the climbing axe area. You can enter the end of Cave 9 from Cave 3 by blowing up a wall with dynamite at the of Cave 3.

Shipwreck Cove is located in the northern area of Scavenger's Coast in Achaia. Once you're there, head to the rocky area by the ocean and clamber over it. On the other side of the rocks, there's a corpse which you must loot to get the clue.

The shipwreck is accesable from the Keep. If you walk through to the back of the keep past the floor mazes towards the left tower you'll find a doorway. The doorway leads to a hole in the wall with a metal walkway leading to the shipwreck.

Cave 2 has a climbing entrance inside the Main Cannibal Village.

Cave enemies are unique: they will quickly reset to their safe positions if they get stuck or wander off, but they do not respawn when killed (there is a bug where cannibals, not mutants, may occasionally respawn).
